Muddy Cow 5k Fun Run – 2020

29th November 2020 @ 10:00 am

29th NOVEMBER 2020

It’s back for 2020!!!!
Mud, glorious mud!!!

After the squelchy but superb first Muddy Cow 5k Fun Run last year, (thanks to our kind sponsor alterDomus) bring you more fun and mud (originally on Mothers’ Day morning) – Get your OLD running shoes (or wellies!) ready for new date of Sunday 29th November 2020!

This fun (approximately) 5km event takes you through fields and farmland. Go at your own pace. Run, walk, crawl!

Sign up now to laugh with your friends and family and in doing so support the great work of three local charities:

Men’s Shed Guernsey

MUG (Male Uprising Guernsey)

Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation

The run will start in the car park opposite the bunker / tower at Vazon Bay and take you through some muddy tracks around La Grande Mare to the home of Rob Waters’ herd before bringing you back to the hotel for your much-coveted medal, some refreshments and hot soup to warm you up.

Adults £20 (included technical T-shirt for the first 300 entrants, all now gone….but please still register to join in the fun & fundraising)

Children £10 (includes cotton commemorative T-shirt)

T-shirts (where applicable) will be available to collect the week before the event – date/time/location tba

Please help us to spread the word. Share this link or the Eventbrite details.
Encourage your friends, family and colleagues to join in. Let’s get moooooooving!

What happens when the 300 Adult Technical T-Shirts are all sold?

We pre-ordered 300 adult technical T-shirts (nearly 100 more than last year). We are thrilled to report that these were all sold out by 29 February 2020! Sorry!

BUT THE GREAT NEWS IS… can still register, participate, get all the same mud, fun, medal, refreshments and happy vibes from helping local charities for only £20 ….. just without the 2020 technical tee. You snoozed, but ya didn’t loooze so adults PLEASE still register to participate!!! We’d really love for you to join us!

Children’s cotton commemorative T-Shirt places are still available.

When and where can I collect my T-shirts?

The t-shirts have been ordered and the supplier assures us they will be ready on time. Once we have them we will announce where and when you may collect thems (Saturday 21st March 2020, 9am-12pm at St Martins Church Hall, Farmers Market) Just remember the name(s) you signed up and we can tick you off the list when you collect,

How do I get one of the super-funky technical T-shirts for a child? (SOLD OUT! Sorry!)

If you would rather buy your child one of the (truly lovely) technical T-shirts rather than the commemorative cotton T-shirt then please register the child as an adult at £20. The smallest sizes ordered are Adult XS and are subject to availability.

What sizes are the technical T-shirts?

Adult technical T-shirts have been pre-ordered as XS, S, M, L and XL in similar ratios to the demand last year.

Is there an age limit?

No upper age limit!
Whilst we recommend a minimum age limit of 8, there is no minimum age limit as each child must be accompanied by an adult and their safety is ultimately the responsibility of that adult. You know best the limitations of the child(ren) in your care. The route will go through a working farm with uneven ground, wild folliage, obstacles and mud. There’s no hurry to finish, it’s a fun event, so your call.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Any questions then please ask
